Ragmatazz...........The Rags to Riches story!

Who says retirement is end to productive time? There is a new beginning to every end.,so believes Minakshi Nagu a former editor of  'Telelife'. Who went on to pursue her hobby of  making patchwork purses etc. & some really exclusive jewelry. It is interesting to note how she brings together materials from all over Asia to create her wonderful pieces. Helped by her two lovely daughters she has definitely created a niche for her creations in the personalized fashion market....all handmade! They take part in several markets around Dubai esp..ARTE and some of their creations are available in a number of lifestyle boutiques in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & Dubai.

Redesigning

My husband had bought this millefiori(as a set) about a decade ago during one of his official trips to Milan. I have not worn it for long. Now I have changed the design to my liking and hope to wear it more often.

Beaded Jewels.

Thanks to my crafty new friends...Anu and Harshita of Colours Dekor , who's lovely creations have inspired me to do beading myself. I always wanted to do some...helped my daughter in her beading projects and bought plenty of beads and other accessories to create something for myself but it did not happen till now! At least now the interest has caught on and do not wish to stop here. Here are some of my work which I did past two days.
